Express Entry

It may appear easy to submit a profile to the Express Entry pool, but it’s always crucial to take enough time to do it correctly. Once you’re in the pool, there are always ways to raise your Express Entry score, so don’t rush.

To create a good Express Entry profile, there are several dos and don’ts to keep in mind. In the blog, we will cover what to include and not include in the express entry profile.

Must Include All Your Dependents

Your Express Entry profile must enlist your family members who are dependent on you. Dependent family members include your spouse or common-law partner, your dependent kid, your dependent child’s child, and the dependent child of your dependent child. However, the following relatives cannot be listed as dependents on your Express Entry profile.

  1. Parents
  2. Grandparents
  3. Brother or sister
  4. Uncle or Aunt
  5. Nephew or Niece

If you do not list dependents on your application, irrespective they are travelling with you or not, your ability to sponsor any of your dependents later will be lost.

Attempt For IELTS

The most popular and significant English language proficiency test that can be used to assess your English language proficiency for Canadian immigration is the IELTS. So it makes sense to be ready or retake the IELTS while you wait for your documents to arrive.

Note: Reading, writing, listening, and speaking are the four language skills that are used to evaluate the candidate. As a result, always include the results of one test when providing test results in your Express Entry profile. Don’t, in essence, combine the results of the two tests in your profile.

Work experience

When it comes to uploading your Express Entry profile, more is always better. Don’t omit any details regarding your previous employment just because you don’t think they’re important. You should still list a job in your profile even if you don’t expressly receive points for it. Work that you don’t value may nonetheless indirectly strengthen your profile because you won’t lose points for doing it. When you submit your profile, you are asked a lot of questions about your family and your background. So, if you don’t understand a question, or are not sure about the answer do not guess anything.
