Saskatchewan decided to issue extra entrepreneur immigration invitations in a recent move. During the round of invitations that was held on 2nd May, the Canadian province of Saskatchewan distributed 43 new invitations so that candidates could apply to the SINP Entrepreneur Expression of Interest pool. This would give them a shot at securing permanent citizenship in Canada.
The candidates who were invited had a range of scores that began from as low as 120 to as high as 135. The province used the SINP Entrepreneur points assessment grid to identify the worthy candidates. The Entrepreneur Category in Saskatchewan wants to help the foreign nationals in the country who want to establish, buy, or partner in a profitable business in this province.
In order to be considered, a candidate must first submit his or her Expression of Interest (EOI) directly to the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). This is an essential pre-application process which can help the government determine the eligibility of the candidates for the program. The candidates are then evaluated on the basis of the points assessment grid. The candidates who scored the highest were given invitations to submit a SINP Entrepreneur approval letter.
Student Direct Stream:
The IRCC or the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada made an announcement that they would need a processing time of 20 calendar days, which is a standard ask. They want to go through the Student Direct Stream study permit applications which were submitted by citizens of China, Vietnam, India, and the Philippines through electronic means. In the May 2nd update, the IRCC stated that the lessened processing standard would only be applicable when a study permit applicant creates a completely electronic application.
The SDS provides eligible candidates with an expedited study permit processing program so they can pursue their education at a post-secondary Canadian Designated Learning Institution (DLI).
