Alberta in its latest draw which was held on August 15 saw a total of 121 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) being issued to candidates of Express Entry Stream. It was the second draw held in August. This time the draw saw a higher CRS cut-off, but nearly a quadrupled the number of invitations as compared to the draw held on August 7. The draw was held through the Express-Entry based provincial nomination stream, which allows the province to search the federal Express Entry system for candidates who meet the stream’s eligibility criteria.
The Alberta Express Entry Stream was created last year and since then it has already issued around 5,503 invitations through 28 draws. To be counted for a nomination of Alberta Express Entry Stream, the primary step is to create a profile in the Federal Express Entry.
