New Arrima Draw Sees Quebec Inviting 23 Eligible Candidates
The Canadian province of Quebec follows an immigration system that is closely aligned to the federal immigration system. The Quebec Ministry of Immigration organized its latest draw via Arrima on October 21, and we now have the details. A total of 23 immigration candidates received invitations to apply for permanent selection in this draw.
Arrima is responsible for managing applications linked with the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). The October 21 draw was the first round of invitations held by the province this month.
What is the Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program?
The Quebec Regular Skilled Worker Program caters to skilled workers who have the skills and ability to establish an economically-stable life in the province. International graduates and skilled workers planning to immigrate to Quebec permanently for work purposes benefit tremendously from this program.
Invited candidates can usually submit their applications for permanent selection within 60 days. They also have to pay processing fees within this time. Quebec tries to process all completed applications within six months. Successful candidates receive a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ or Quebec Selection Certificate), which increases their chances of getting selected to apply for permanent residence in Canada.
The Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) issues invitations to apply for permanent selection to only those candidates who have already submitted an expression of interest or EOI in the Arrima system.
