Toronto is a vibrant city that will captivate you from the moment you step into it. Multicultural and diverse, the community in Toronto welcomes immigrants with open arms. As the provincial capital of Ontario, the city houses around 2.8 million people. Over the years, it has become the international hub of industries like business, arts, and finance. Situated along Lake Ontario, the city skyline is rather popular because of the famous CN Tower. If you want to see Toronto from its best angles, then you should definitely visit the Tower.

Toronto is regarded as one of the most liveable cities in the world, which means that immigrants will find it easy to adjust to the lifestyle in Toronto. However, the city has recorded some of the highest costs of living in Canada, so there are two sides to the coin.

The diverse collection of cultures makes Toronto a mini-world.

Job opportunities:

As the financial hub of Canada, Toronto has plenty of job opportunities to offer. There are more than 100 000 businesses set in the city, and you will be able to secure a job based on your set of skills. The most popular business sectors with reference to employment are Financial Services, Legal Firms, and Accounting. Hospitality and tourism are also on their way to becoming prosperous fields because there is a daily influx of tourists and business personnel. Corporations like Price water house Coopers and Deloitte & Touche are excellent options.

Living:

There are different neighborhoods to choose from, depending on your needs. A family of two can settle in the city or downtown while bigger families prefer to live in the suburbs such as North York, and Richmond Hill which provide easier access to schools. Suburbs also offer a comparatively lower cost of living which can be a determining factor for you depending on your financial status.

Education:

If you are looking to get a great education, then Toronto is the place you should choose because it has some of the finest universities in the country.  The University of Toronto is considered to be the best learning institution in the country. You can choose between a variety of arts and science courses. Since Toronto is a multicultural city, it has both private and public schools dedicated to different religions. However, the medium of instruction in most schools is either English or French.

Transport:

The prices are reasonable.

Places to visit:

The iconic CN Tower is definitely worth a visit. If you are a fan of hockey, you should go to the Hockey Hall of Fame, which is a dedicated museum to ice hockey. You will also want to view the Casa Loma, the Royal Ontario Museum and the Niagara Falls.
