  • Jan 16, 2020: Ontario has introduced a small set of proposed changes to the In-Demand Skills, Foreign Workers with a Job Offer, and International Students streams. The changes have not yet been adopted.
  • Jan 15, 2020: Ontario has invited 954 Express Entry candidates with experience in one of six tech occupations. This draw is a part of Ontario’s Tech Pilot.
  • Jan 14, 2020: Alberta announced that as of Jan 6, approximately 2,175 applications await assessment for AINP eligibility, of which more than 1,725 are in line for the Opportunity Stream.

  • September 26: Alberta revealed the results of its two Alberta Express Entry draws that took place on September 11 and 18 respectively.

- Feb 13, 2020: Ontario invited 486 Express Entry candidates through a Human Capital Priorities draw targeting ten occupations.

- Jan 16, 2020: Ontario has introduced a small set of proposed changes to the In-Demand Skills, Foreign Workers with a Job Offer, and International Students streams. The changes have not yet been adopted.

- Jan 15, 2020: Ontario has invited 954 Express Entry candidates with experience in one of six tech occupations. This draw is a part of Ontario’s Tech Pilot.

- Jan 9, 2020: Ontario has issued 242 invitations to Express Entry candidates through the French-Speaking Skilled Workers stream. Invitations will be sent to candidates’ IRCC accounts.

- December 31: Ontario has reached its increased quota for provincial nominations for 2019. The province has issued a total of 7,350 nominations have been issued through the OINP in 2019. New applications and submitted applications will continue to be accepted and processed in 2020.

- December 11: Ontario invited 667 candidates to apply under the Express Entry Skilled Trades stream, with invited candidates having CRS scores as low as 410.

- December 2: Ontario invited 16 candidates through the entrepreneurial stream of the OINP.

- September 23: Ontario recently closed its intake for the Employer Job Offer stream, as the OINP has reached its intake limit of the year.

- September 20: Ontario issued around 15 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination through Ontario Entrepreneur Stream.

- August 15: Ontario in it’s August 15 draw issued 997 NOIs to Express Entry candidates with experience in one of the 10 Targeted Occupations.

- August 1: Ontario issued 1,773 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to those candidates who have Tech experience and have scored minimum CRS 435 points.

- July 15: Ontario conducted its first Tech Draw on July 12 inviting 1,623 EE candidates with CRS scores as low as 439.

- July 11: Ontario draw will begin targeting applicants with work experience in the Technology sector for Canada permanent residency.

- Feb 20, 2020: Quebec announced the results of the two latest rounds of invitations issued through the Quebec Skilled Worker selection system, Arrima. The most recent draw took place on January 16 and issued 23 invitations. 

- Jan 9, 2020: Quebec announced the results of the two latest rounds of invitations issued through the Quebec Skilled Worker selection system, Arrima. The most recent draw took place on Dec 12 and 17 and issued 305 invitations.

- October 3: Quebec province of Canada announced the results of the latest draw which took place through the Arrima selection system. The draw invited a total of 32 candidates.

- August 21: Quebec announced the results of the first two draws through Quebec’s Arrima system conducted on July 4 and July 17 with 950 invitations issued.

- November 24: Quebec draws took place on Oct 23 and Oct 29 and issued 89 and 73 invitations respectively

- July 10: Quebec has suspended the intake of Quebec Experience Program’s Graduates Stream until November 1, 2019 (two exceptions apply).

-July 5: Quebec has started sending out invitations to the candidates in the Arrima Pool.

- Feb 13, 2020: Saskatchewan has invited 677 candidates through the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams.

- September 25: Saskatchewan in the latest draw invited 769 candidates, with 404 Express Entry candidates and 365 Occupations In-Demand candidates. It was the first SINP draw after the expansion of the eligible occupations lists.

- September 18: Saskatchewan province of Canada expanded the list of occupations eligible for the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams.

- September 5: Saskatchewan province of Canada invited 45 candidates through the Entrepreneur stream of SINP.

- September 3: Saskatchewan announced two new draw dates for the Entrepreneur program on Jan 7 and March 5, 2020. This is in addition to previously announced draws on Sept 5 and Nov 7, 2019.

- August 15: Saskatchewan, one of the provinces of Canada issued an Invitation to Apply to 150 candidates under the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).

- December 19: Prince Edward Island invited 117 Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates to apply for provincial nomination under the PEI PNP, with another 11 business candidates also invited.

- November 21: Prince Edward Island invited 157 Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates to apply for provincial nomination under the PEI PNP, with another 14 business candidates also invited.

- September 19: Prince Edward Island in its latest draw invited a total of 109 Express Entry and Labour Impact candidates to apply for provincial nomination under the PEI PNP.

- August 15: Prince Edward Island has issued a total of 143 invitations to the Expression of Interest candidates in Express Entry, Labour Impact, and Business Impact categories.

- July 18: Prince Edward Island provincial nominee program invites 135 Immigration candidates in new Expression of Interest draw.

- June 20: Prince Edward Island has invited a total of 113 candidates to apply to the PEI PNP under the categories of Labour and Business Impact Immigration.

-July 26: New Brunswick has announced to issue ITAs to Express Entry candidates even if they’ve not registered an Expression of Interest with New Brunswick.

- Feb 13, 2020: Manitoba invited 242 candidates, including 15 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP under three MPNP streams.

- Feb 3, 2020: Manitoba announced the results of a draw that took place on Jan 30, in which it invited 181 candidates, including 11 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP under three MPNP streams

- Jan 2, 2020: Manitoba has invited 186 candidates, including 24 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP under three MPNP streams.

- December 17: Manitoba province invited 183 candidates, including 16 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP, under three MPNP streams.

- December 9:  Manitoba announced the results of a Dec 6 draw where the province invited 221 candidates, including 18 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP

- November 21: Manitoba invited 230 candidates, including 20 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP.

- November 7: Manitoba has invited a total of 180 candidates, including 23 candidates from the Express Entry, to apply to the MPNP.

-October 24: Manitoba invited a total of 157 candidates, which included candidates from the Express Entry profile as well to apply to the MPNP. The province also announced a few changes in its list of in-demand occupations.

- September 25: Manitoba has invited a total of 224 candidates, including 15 Express Entry candidates, to apply to the MPNP.

- September 12: Manitoba in its latest draw invited 347 candidates, including 45 Express Entry candidates to apply to the MPNP.

- September 11: Manitoba revealed results of the draw held on August 15 that invited a total of 360 candidates, including 32 Express Entry candidates.

- July 18: Manitoba has invited 173 skilled worker candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR in the latest MPNP draw.

- December 5: Nova Scotia has invited Social and Community Services Workers (NOC 4212) with a draw through the Labour Market Priorities Stream.

- November 12: Nova Scotia invited 20 candidates through the Entrepreneur Stream of the Nova Scotia Nominee Program

- June 24: Nova Scotia has invited a total of 44 candidates to apply to the NSNP, under the Entrepreneur and International Graduate streams.
